This oil-free, medicated, ultra-light lotion with 5% benzoyl peroxide helps fight existing acne breakouts and prevent future breakouts on the face or body. It controls excess oil, soothes skin, and visibly calms redness, while its hydrating properties minimize dryness and flaking.

Unlike most benzoyl peroxide-based acne products, Clear Acne Extra Strength Cream 5% BP contains no harsh or skin-aggravating ingredients that can make acne worse. Instead, you get a truly gentle formula with the gold standard anti-acne ingredient benzoyl peroxide.

All Paula’s Choice products are 100% fragrance free, clinically proven to be non-irritating, and never tested on animals.

Apply after cleansing and exfoliating. If dryness or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of application to once per day/every other day. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

The Extra Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide is a true game-changer in my son’s acne routine. This is not only good for active acne, but I also use it for my blackheads and it works great. I use this together with the 2% BHA.
