Who is Paula's Choice Omega+ Complex Serum best for?
Omega+ Complex Serum is ideal if you have dry or dehydrated skin showing signs of fatigue and aging like fine lines and wrinkles. The gentle, fragrance-free formula is also excellent for those with sensitive skin.
Paula’s Choice Omega+ Complex Serum vs. Moisturizer: How are they different?
The most significant difference between these Omega+ Complex products is texture: Omega+ Complex Serum is a thin lotion while Omega+ Complex Moisturizer has a whipped, airy cream texture. Both the Serum and Moisturizer contain the same key Omega Complex, but the Serum contains a greater concentration. The Moisturizer adds amino acids, some additional non-fragrant plant oils, and soothing antioxidants while the Serum kicks in some vitamins C and E, a higher amount of glycerin, and the addition of plum oil for its omega-9 benefits (the Moisturizer relies more on oleic acid for omega-9).
How is the Omega+ Complex Serum different from the Omega+ Complex Eye Cream?
The Omega+ Complex Eye Cream contains niacinamide, bearberry, mulberry and licorice extracts specifically for addressing signs of under-eye dullness and darkness from sun damage. Scutellaria baicalensis root contains potent antioxidant compounds, including flavonoids, to interrupt how external aggressors impact skin’s surface layers, thus helping to alleviate puffiness.
Do I need to use all three Omega+ Complex products?
It depends on your skin’s needs. If you have dry, dehydrated skin showing signs of stress (think random sensitivity, red patches and flaky areas) layering multiple omega products is a wise move. You can apply our Omega+ Complex Serum to your face, neck and chest and then follow with the Moisturizer and Eye Cream. The products are designed to work even better together.
How is Paula’s Choice Omega+ Complex Serum different from Paula’s Choice Antioxidant Serums?
Omega+ Complex Serum is different than our antioxidant serums because it's loaded with fatty acids and ceramides, skin-natural replenishing ingredients which help fortify and revive skin’s surface, supplying long-lasting hydration so skin feels softer and stronger. While all the omegas in this serum also have antioxidant benefits, there are fewer additional active ingredients and vitamins than our Antioxidant Serums which contain higher concentrations of ingredients like retinol, vitamin C and niacinamide. You can always use your antioxidant serum during the day and Omega+ Complex Serum at night (or vice versa) depending on your skin’s needs.
How do you use Paula’s Choice Omega+ Complex Serum?
You can apply a few drops of Omega+ Complex Serum up to twice daily, after cleansing, toning and exfoliating. You can layer it with other serums and treatment products, in order from thinnest to thickest textures, and making sure to apply SPF 30+ during the day.
What are omega fatty acids? Are omega fatty acids good for skin?
Omega fatty acids are a type of essential fatty acid which our bodies and skin require for good health. They act as building blocks in the skin cells, strengthening the skin’s surface layers for a smoother, healthier, younger-looking complexion. There are three main types of omega fatty acids for skin: omega 3, 6 and 9.
What is the difference between dry and dehydrated skin?
Because “dry skin” and “dehydrated skin” are often used interchangeably, there tends to be some confusion. Dry skin is a skin type, meaning skin routinely feels tight or dry. Dehydrated skin is a condition that can cause a dry feel all over, but this tends to come and go rather than persist. Read our article to learn more about how to tell the difference between dry vs. dehydrated skin.

Rejuvenate my dull skin
This product is highly recommended, it leave your skin feel smooth, hydrated the next day when you woke up. It feel light on your face. Love it!
Daily essential
This is my favorite moisturizer - not too heavy yet hydrating.
Plump but firm
I've used this (I believe it's coming to my 4th bottle). This helps my skin to look plump but firm, and that's really important for someone in my late 50's!!! The dryness (even though I have oily skin generally), but can still look dry also; and the fine lines are definitely less visible.
My favourite
This is my 6th bottle! Loves how it glides on.
Omega+ Complex Serum
Love this! Bought this on the recommendation of Dr Vanita Rattan (YouTube) and she recommended this for damaged skin barrier. Love how it smells. And it doesn't aggravate my skin. That's the most important! So thank you Paula's Choice :-)
